To see if the Town will raise and appropriate $3500.00 for the purchase of land at Scituate Harbor, Northwesterly corner of First Parish Road and Front Street, for a playground and recreational center and provide for the administra- tion of said playground and recreational center under the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 45, Section 14, said land being bounded and described as follows: being the land described in deed dated January 9, 1930, and recorded in the Plymouth Registry of Deeds, Book 1585, Page 365-368 inclusive.

To see if the Town will accept the layout of the Selectmen widening the Westerly corner at the junction of Baileys Causeway and Glades Road in accordance with a plan on file with the Town Clerk and raise and appropriate the sum of $200.00 for construction, or act thereon.

To see if the Town will raise and appropriate the sum of $650.00 for the extension of the sidewalk and curbing Northerly on the Easterly side of Jericho Beach Road as far as the appropriation will allow, or act thereon.

To see if the Town will accept the layout of the County Commissioners for the widening and straightening of First Parish Road from its junction with Chief Justice Cushing Road Easterly to Country Way and raise and appropriate a sum of money for land damages and $3500.00 for construction of said highway; said money to be used in conjunction with any money which may be allotted by the Department of Public Works, Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the County of Plymouth, or both, for this purpose, or take any other action relative thereto. -Selectinen.


VOTED: That the Town accept the layout of the County Commissioners for the widening and straightening of First Parish Road from its junction with Chief Justice Cushing Road easterly to Country Way and raise and appropriate the sum of $1.158.60 for land damages and the sum of $3,500.00 for construction of said highway under Chapter 90 Procedure.
