The report of the committee was read and signed by the five members, as follows: Thomas D. Morse, chairman; George E. Findlay; Richard H. Hammond; William R. Sullivan; and Walter R. Jaynes, Secretary.
The report pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of voting machines as a result of questionnaires sent to the towns and cities using machines. The answers to the question of cost and of saving money the report stated were "varied." Machines would cost $1,823.50 as of January 30, 1960 (exclusive of shipping costs), but should not be considered a stable price.
