Kenney, thence turning and run- ning northwesterly by land of said Kenney one hun- dred and forty feet to other land of said Toye, and thence turning and running along said remaining land of said Toye to the point of beginning.

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby required to notify and warn the legal voters of the Town of Arlington, to meet in the TOWN HALL in said Town on
Thursday, the 28th Day of May, 1925 at eight o'clock, P. M., to act on the following Articles, viz:
Article 1. To hear and act upon the reports of Town Boards and officers and of the Finance and other committees heretofore appointed.
Article 2. To see if the Town will authorize the acquisition by purchase or otherwise, for school purposes, of all or any portion of the "Kate P. Foster property" on Irving Street, consisting of a parcel of land with the buildings thereon, bounded southwesterly by Irving Street 98.58 feet; northwesterly by land of the Town of Arlington 141.9 feet; northeasterly by land now or for- merly of Fannie C. Porter 92.46 feet; southeasterly by land now or formerly of Clarence A. Moore, 173.5 feet more or less; southwesterly again by land formerly of Gray and now or formerly of William T. Foster 24.55 feet more or less; containing 16,585 square feet more or less, and being shown on a plan marked "Plan Showing Land in Arlington, Mass. Proposed to be Acquired for School Purposes April 10, 1925, George E. Ahern, Town Engineer," on file in the office of the Town Engineer ; make an appropriation for such acquisition; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended ; or take any action relating thereto.

To see if the Town will make an addi- tional appropriation of the sum of $400 or any other sum for the use of the Committee to procure plans and estimates for the construction of a building for the use of the Police Department, under vote passed March 26, 1925; determine in what manner the money shall be raised ; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 7. To see if the Town will make an appro- priation for the improvement of the playground sit- uated in the rear of the Crosby School, located between Winter Street and Oxford Street; determine in what man- ner the money shall be raised ; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 8. To see if the Town will authorize the sale, conveyance or other disposition of all or any portion of a certain parcel of land bounded northwesterly by the southeasterly side line of Oxford Street 432.54 feet; northeasterly by the southwesterly side line of Broad- way 2.63 feet; southeasterly by land now or formerly of Barry 433 feet more or less; and southwesterly by other land of the Town known as the Crosby School Playground 2.77 feet, more or less; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 9. To see if the Town will appoint a com- mittee to consider the amendment, alteration, repeal or revision of, or additions to the Town's By-laws including By-laws relating to buildings, structures and premises,

and to report a draft of By-laws to provide for the forego- ing, and also to consider and report upon the advisability of petitioning the Legislature for permission to revoke the Town's acceptance of Chap. 635 of the Acts of 1912, being an act relative to tenement houses in towns (the provisions of which are now contained in Chap. 145 of the G. L.) make an appropriation therefor; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 10. To see if the Town will change in any way by amendment to, by substitution for, or by striking out of any or all of the Zoning By-law or By-laws of the Town of Arlington, including the districts of classes shown on a map entitled "Town of Arlington, Massachu- setts, Zoning Map, prepared under the direction of the Zoning Committee by John P. Fox, Consultant on Zon- ing, March, 1924" which By-law or By-laws and Map showing the districts of classes were adopted at the ad- journed meeting held May 15, 1924, of the Annual Town Meeting of 1924; or take any action thereon.

By virtue of this warrant I have notified and warned the legal voters of the Town of Arlington to meet at the time and place and for the purposes herein named by causing a printed attested copy of the same to be left at every dwelling house in the Town, and by posting an attested copy at the doors of the Town Hall seven days at least before said day of meeting and by posting attested copies in two or more conspicuous places in each voting precinct in the Town. A notice of the time, place and objects of the meeting was published in the local papers.

Pursuant to the warrant of the Selectmen served according to law upon the inhabitants of the Town of Arlington, by a Constable of said Town and sent by mail by the Town Clerk at least seven days before the day of meeting to the Town Meeting Members, duly elected and qualified to act in town meetings in Arling- ton, the Town Meeting Members met in the Town Hall in said Town on Thursday evening, May 28, 1925. No- tices of the meeting were published in the local papers.
