ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION FEBRUARY 16, 1965
The annual Town Election was held on February 16, 1965 in the Eastham Town Auditorium, the meeting being called to order at 10:00 A.M. The following persons, having been appointed to act as Election Officers and tellers were sworn to the faithful performance of their duties by the Town Clerk :
Lorna Horton, Esther K. Turner, Anastasia Higgins, James Clancy, Bertha Perreault, Elnathan Eldredge, Joyce Chaplowe, Joseph King, Lucy Cary, John Connors, Alfred Mills.
The Polls opened at 10:00 A.M. and closed at 6:20 P.M. The ballot box was examined and found to register zero. At closing time the ballot box registered 649, the voting list showing the same number as having voted.

ANNUAL TOWN MEETING FEBRUARY 15, 1965
Pursuant to the provisions of the provisions of the fore- going Warrant, the voters assembled in the Eastham Aud- itorium, and there being a quorum present, the meeting was called to order by the Moderator, Joseph E. Doyle, Jr., at 7:00 P.M. Joseph King and Howard E. Quinn were appointed as tellers and were duly sworn to the faithful performance of their duties by the Town Clerk.
Rev. Eldred Simkins offered a prayer, the call and the service of the warrant for the meeting were read by the Town Clerk. There being no objection, the reading of the Articles in the warrant was omitted.
Article 1. Voted : that the Town place the refunded dog tax at the disposal of the Public Library.

Article 2 Voted : to authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1965, and issue a note or notes there-

fore, payable in one year and renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year, in ac- cordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, General Laws.

Article 3. Voted : to authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of reimbursement for the financial vear beginning January 1, 1965, and to issue a note or notes therefore, payable in one year and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year, in accordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, Gen- eral Laws.

Article 4. Voted : to raise and appropriate the sum of $200.00 for the establishment of a free bed in the Cape Cod Hospital. Hyannis Mass .. for the care and treatment of persons certified by the Selectmen to be residents of the Town and unable to pay for such care and treatment, in accordance with Chapter III, Section 74, General Laws. Article 5. Voted: to authorize the Selectmen to sell, after first giving notice of time and place of sale by posting such notice of sale in some convenient and public place in the Town and in a local newspaper, fourteen (14) days at least before the sale, property taken by the Town under tax title procedure, provided that the Select- men or whomsoever they authorize to hold such sale may reject any bid which they deem inadequate, and raise and appropriate the sum of $100.00 for this purpose.

Article 6. Voted : that the Town raise and appropriate the sum of $3,700.00 to meet the Town's share of Chapter 81 Highway work and that in addition, the sum of $10,175.00 be transferred from available funds in the Treasury to meet the State's share of work, the re-imburse-
