To see if the Town will vote to modify the Zoning Map of the Town of Franklin, Massachusetts by changing from Residential I, II and III to Commercial I, a parcel of land located on the northerly side of East Central Street, and on the southeasterly side of Chestnut Street, and bounded on the easterly side by the westerly boundary line of Albert and Dorothy Rawson and extension of said Rawson line northerly for a distance of 1,450 feet + from the center line of East Central Street to a point at land of Annie Paine; thence bounded northerly by the southerly line of Annie Paine extended a distance of 1,700 feet ± to the center line of Chestnut Street; thence bounded

northwesterly by the center line of Chestnut Street a distance of 1,900 feet ± to the center line of East Central Street; thence bounded south- erly by the center line of East Central Street a distance 3,000 feet ± to the said Rawson line and point of beginning.

To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Public Works to act for the Town by signing an application for federal assistance in the form of a Planning Loan under Public Law 560 and to act as the responsible agent of the Town in all matters concerned with this application and with subsequent responsibilities in this matter and that the Town Treasurer be authorized to release funds received from the Federal Government upon signed request of the Board of Public Works. To see if the Town will vote to acquire by purchase from New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad Company for the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00), a permanent easement for the installation of a 72" drain pipe across and under land or right of way and tracks of the Boston Division of said Railroad Company, at or about engineering station 1489+60 of the monumented center line of the land or right of way of said Railroad Company, at Franklin, Massachusetts, substantially as shown in red on print entitled "N. Y., N. H. & H. R. R., Boston Division Tracks and Buildings, Franklin Jct., Mass. Proposed Installation of 6' concrete drain pipe Spruce Pond Drainage Project for Town of Franklin, Mass.
