Stock, Provisions, Etc. on Town Farm-11 cows, 2 years old; 36 hens, 25 ton hay, 3 tons ensilage, 5 barrels apples, 35 bushels potatoes, 1 bushel beets, 2-3 barrel pork, 3 bushel beans, 44 cans preserves, 10 pounds butter.
Inmates of Almshouse for the past year-Walter Lucas, age 62; Hannah Leighton, age 88; Guy Ames, age 38.
REMARKS: - The farm for the past year, under the care of Mr. and Mrs. F. R. York, has been kept in ex- cellent order both in the house and outside, the inmates receiving the best of care. Their earnest endeavors to make a profitable showing have been fully appreciated. Although the balance shows against the farm this year, this is not due to any negligence on their part, but rather to the unfortunate loss of two cows and several extra bills such as insurance, doctors, undertakers, etc. However, taking into consideration the fact that we have two more cows than last year, the difference will make the balance in the farm's favor.
- 7-
We consider the Town very fortunate in being able to retain Mr. and Mrs. York for the ensuing year. E. D. WATERHOUSE, W. L. LIBBY, O. E. HARDY, Overseers of Poor :
