Number of volumes loaned, 2,705

Number of fiction loaned, 2,355

Number of non-fiction loaned, 350

Number of periodicals loaned, 1,821 Attendance, 1,501

The attendance has been very good the past year, but few paid books have been put out, as people's time and money have been used in Red Cross work.

Mrs. Richardson had the building painted three coats out- side, also the reading room redecorated.

The library was closed eleven days on account of influenza.

Our circulation was less this year, owing to the fact that we have had no new books.

Lisbon in its branch library at Sugar Hill has one of the best as well as beautiful small Libraries in the state. Let us hope that it may be maintained in a manner worthy of the generos- ity which made it possible.

Respectfully submitted,

JERUSHA ELIZABETH PARKER, Librarian. Feb. 21, 1919.
