Report of School Board

Once more we are to present our report of the schools in town. We think that our teachers have been faithful in their work in the past year and the pupils have done good work so we can report a successful year.

We are glad to say we have been able to purchase a good dictionary for the village school, also a case of eight maps, mounted on rolls, for each school. These we be- lieve will fill a long-felt want in our school equipment.

We bespeak the help of each parent in making our schools better each year.

Five weeks extra school was furnished in East He- bron from a fund in the hands of Rosie Russell, which was given by subscription several years ago, and wood and board given by parents. We hope to have a like exten- sion to that school next winter.

We respectfully request the selectmen to assess the following items for school purposes :

Money for high school tuitions to the amount of $240 00 Money for text books and scholars supplies 60 00
