To the citizens of Thornton, N. H.

The School Board herewith presents its report for the fiscal year ending March, 1910.

Next in importance to the personal school workers and the school houses to work in, stands the equipment to work with. This equipment comes under the head of books, supplies and apparatus.

The School Board for several years has put forth an effort to have the schools provided with bookcases, door mats, globes, maps and supplementary reading.

In order to have the children become good readers, each grade should be provided with supplementary reading.

Again the School Board suggests that the parents visit the schools often, that they may see the work their children are doing.

Respectfully submitted,

ISABELLE F. HAZELTINE,

FRANCES H. EMMONS, School Board. FRANK A. BARNARD,
