REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
To the School Board of Jaffrey:
I herewith submit to you my fourth annual report, the thirteenth under district supervision.
For the past three years the enrollment of the Con- ant High School has shown a steady increase. During the school year 1918-19 the high school had a total en- rollment of 53 which dropped to 43 before the close of the spring term. The enrollment for 1919-1920 was 57 with an average membership of 51. For 1920-21 the enrollment showed an increase of 11, the total being 68 with an average membership of 63. The enrollment for the present year is 76 with an average membership of 75. A total increase of 32 pupils in three years certain- ly is occasion for encouragement, and the fact that sev- eral students each year are admitted to college on cer- tificate of the high school, and the fact that the ranks sent back from the colleges indicating the high rank these students are taking in the several institutions indicates the standing of the high school. The report. of the High School Inspector also shows that the State Department appreciates the earnest and effec- tive work that is being done in this school.
