THE STATEMENT FROM THE SCHOOL BOARD.

There were eight schools in session in the spring and fall, and seven this winter. The East Piermont school has had only eight weeks, as there has been no scholars of school age since the spring term closed.

The Rodimon district has had twenty-nine weeks, the children being small and living quite a distance from the school house. All the others have had thirty-three weeks.

Mrs. Worthen has made thirty-seven visits, Mrs. Ames forty-two and Mr. Ames one.

We urge parents to visit the schools.
