Atlantic Mutual Life Ins. Co.
Advantages Peculiar to this Company.
PROMPT PAYMENT OF LOSSES.
All losses are by the terms of the policy made payable imme- diately upon the receipt of satisfactory proofs of loss, and not as is usually the case, at the expiration of sixty or ninety days.
SECURITY AGAINST ERRORS.
To prevent an intended legacy from becoming the subject of a law-snit, all policies isened by this Company are by their terms indisputable at the expiration of seven years, against fraud or error in the statements made in the original application.
EXTRA CHARCES.
This Company will permit no agent to charge insurers for policy or stamp.
POLICIES NON-FORFEITABLE.
In every case of three or more annual cash payments being made, policies will be rendered non-forfeitable to the amount of premiums paid. That is to say, that if application is made within six months after the lapsing of any policy upon which three or more annual cash premiums have been paid, the as- sured will be entitled to a paid up policy equal to the whole amount paid thereon.
DIVISION OF SURPLUS.
With the reservation of legal interest to stockholders and a reserve fund to be used for the purpose of retiring the Capital Stock, all profits are by the terms of the Charter apportioned among the Policy-holders.
Atlantic Mutual Life Ins. Go.
AMOUNT INSURED.
Policies will be granted on first class lives to any amount not exceeding $10,000.
MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS.
When application is made for insurance in any amount ex- ceeding $5,000, two separate examinations by different physi- cians will be required.
AGES INSURED.
When Insurance is desired by persons whose ages execed those specified in the tables, special rates, will be given by application to the Home Office.
MEDICAL TREATMENT AS AFFECTING RATES OF INSURANCE.
Believing as we do that the systems of medical practice, as affecting the duration of life, are well worthy of consideration by Life Insurance Companies, and basing our caleulations npon data in our possession showing the decreased rate of mortality under what is known as the " Homeopathie System of Medi- cine," we have concluded to make a deduetion of ten per eent. from the table rates upon each payment of premium by those habitually using this mode of treatment. In case of medical practice being changed, the same rates will be charged as to those insuring under other modes of treatment.
AS AFFECTING DIVIDENDS.
In order however that no injustiee may be done to those pre- ferring other schools of medieine, all apportionment of profits under the redneed rates will be separately made.

Atlantic Mutual Life Insurance Co.
CREDITS.
Whenever considered desirable by those insuring upon the common life table, with profits, a note will be taken for forty per cent. of the premium.
Or in case of the insurance being taken npon the "Ten Year Life " table, a loan of twenty-five per cent. of the premium will be made upon the same terms.
DIVIDENDS, HOW APPLIED.
Dividends will be declared on all participating polieies, which have existed twelve months prior to the first day of January in each year, and upon which more than one full year's premium has been paid.
Each dividend will be redeemed in three years from the time it is declared. If the assured has availed himself of the credit, the dividend, when redeemed, will be applied to the payment thereof; otherwise he may receive it in cash, or in case of the dividends being in excess of the amount of credit taken the insured may receive the balance in cash.
NON-FORFEITABLE ENDOWMENT.
This plan has beeome so deservedly popular that we hope that all our Agents will familiarize themselves with the details of the system, in order that they may be the better able to present it for the consideration of all desiring insurance. It will, we are confident, be found to meet the views of a elass of business men, whose wants have heretofore been but inade- qnately met.
