HATCH'S Improved Fishing Reel,

MANUFACTURED BY

GEORGE W. BROWN & CO.

FORESTVILLE, CONN.

PATENTED JUNE 19, 1866.

DEALERS IN FISHING TACKLE. FOR SALE BY ALL

The great advantage of this Reel over all other Reels in use, is that they are so constructed as to combine beauty, strength and utility, and being made by machinery, the parts are perfect, and fitted together so nicely that the Reel turns smooth and perfectly noiseless at a great velocity, winds in the line much faster and easier than any multiplying Reel, yet there is no gearing whatever connected with it. Another great feature of the Reel is, it is so arranged that it is impossible for the line to catch or tangle in winding in or out, as is the case with other Reels.

This Reel is attached to the pole in the ordinary way, by means of rings on the pole. That part which is attached to the pole, and the band which protects the wheel from all harm, is made of one solid piece of metal, thus making it far more durable than those made of many pieces, as is the case with other Reels.

HATCH'S PATENT

Taper Attachment. CAN BE ATTACHED TO ANY ENGINE LATHE.

One of the greatest improvements that has appeared of late is Hatch's apparatus, as attached to an Engine Lathefor turning tapers. It is the cheapest and best thing known for that purpose. Send for circular, and see the testimony of some of the most prominent man- ufacturing companies in this State and Massachusetts.
