EAST HAVEN,
FACTORY,
The materials from which this Paint is made are of the best imported and American manufacture, and warranted not to contain any adulteration. The above, together with D. B. CROCKETT'S COMPOSITION, makes it the most superior Paint in the market. The Composition used has been a study, by Mr. Crockett, for years past. Its compounds being of such a nature as to form a perfect Chemical combination, so thoroughly blended together that no one part can be acted upon separately by heat or cold, leaving a surface, smooth and bright. that none of the elements will act upon, either before or after it becomes dry, and is warranted not to crack, peel, or rub off, by friction or blister, under the most extreme exposures of heat, cold or salt air ; and having put it to the most severe tests that Paint could be put under, am now satisfied that it has no equal as to Durability, Brilliancy, and beauty of Finish, as a Paint for either outside or inside work. For inside wood work, or walls, where a fine finish is required, it has no equal, and at the same time it can be washed or cleaned off as smooth as the surface of a mirror, and still retain its brilliancy. As a coating for Iron buildings, and all Iron work in general, also, for Tin and all kinds of Metal Roofing, it has been proved to outstand the best material ever offered. This Paint is manufactured by Mr. Crockett, of this city, who has been known as a successful manufacturer of goods in this line of business for the last forty-five years ; his factory is situated in the immediate vicinity of New Haven.
Now, if we can show to the public generally, that we can give them a Paint that is superior in every way to that now in general use, for the same money, or less, which we are confident we can do, it must be greatly to their advantage to use Crockett's Paint, and encourage home manufacture. All Colors and kinds can be had, put up neatly in gallon, half gallon and quart cans, all ready for use. All are invited to call at my office and examine samples of Paints, and Testimonials, &c., from various parties who have used it.
