To the Constables of the Town of Arlington, in said County:


GREETING:


In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby re- quired to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Arlington, qualified to vote in elections, to meet at the polling places designated for the several precincts in said Town on


MONDAY, THE SIXTH DAY OF MARCH, 1961


at seven o'clock in the forenoon, to act on the following Articles, namely:


Article 1. To elect by ballot the following Town Officers: Two Select- men for three years; one Assessor for three years; three members of the School Committee for three years and one member of the Arlington Housing Authority for five years; also, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 43A of the General Laws, in each precinct the number of Town Meeting Members as hereinafter specified: in Precinct 1, one such member for two years and five such members for three years; in Precinct 2, one such mem- ber for one year and six such members for three years; in Precinct 3, four such members for three years; in Precinct 4, one such member for one year and six such members for three years; in Precinct 5, one such member for one year and seven such members for three years; in Precinct 6, five such members for three years; in Precinct 7, one such member for one year and five such members for three years; in Precinct 8, five such members for three years; in Precinct 9, one such member for one year and six such members for three years; in Precinct 10, one such member for one year and five such members for three years; in Precinct 11, one such member for one year and seven such members for three years; in Precinct 12, one such member for one year and six such members for three years; in Precinct 13, one such member for one year and six such members for three years; in Precinct 14, one such member for two years and eight such mem- bers for three years, and to see if the Town will accept the provisions of Chapter 595 of the Acts of 1959 amending Chapter 32B of the General Laws by inserting after Section 9, Section 9A, being "Shall the Town pay one-half the premium costs payable by a retired employee for group life insurance and for group general or blanket hospital, surgical and medical insurance?"


For these purposes, the polls will be opened at seven o'clock A.M. and remain open until eight o'clock P.M., at each of the polling places designated, viz: Precinct One, in the East Arlington Branch Library, entrance on Massa- chusetts Avenue; Precincts Two and Four, in the Hardy School Building, entrance on Lake Street; Precinct 3, in the Junior High School Building East, entrance on Tufts Street; Precinct 5, in the Thompson School Building, entrance on North Union Street; Precincts Six and Eight, in the Town Hall; Precincts Seven and Nine, in the St. Agnes Parochial School Building;
