Pursuant to a Warrant signed by the Selectmen of Milford, the inhabitants of the Town of Milford, qualified by law to vote in Primaries met in State Armory, in said town on Tuesday, the 25th day of April, A.D. 1944, and were called to order by John H. Henderson, Selectman, Presiding Election Officer, at 2 o'clock P.M.
The Town Clerk read the Warrant and the Officer's return thereon. All legal requirements having been com- plied with, the business meeting began.
During the voting the ballot box was opened once for the purpose of taking out, sorting and counting the ballots. At this time there were 118 ballots cast, 61 Re- publican and 57 Democratic. Time 5:45 P.M.
The polls were declared closed at 8 P.M.
Whole number of Republican ballots cast 100; whole number of Democratic ballots cast 132. Total number of ballots cast, 232.
Number of names checked on the voting lists, 232.
The result of the Democratic ballot was announced at 8:30 P.M. and the result of the Republican ballot was announced at 8:20 P.M.

In the name of the Commonwealth you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town who are qualified to vote in Primaries to meet in State Armory, Tuesday, the 11th day of July A.D. 1944 at 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. for the following purposes:

Councillor for Seventh Councillor District Senator for Fourth Senatorial District
Two Representatives in General Court for Tenth Representative District
County Commissioners (2) (Except Nantucket and Suffolk County) for Worcester County

The polls will be open from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M.
