Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to receive and accept a certain parcel of land as conveyed to the Town by Alfred L. Atwood by deed, dated October 11, 1927, and to provide that the same be used for school purposes, or take any other action in said matter.

Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to receive and accept the gift of a sum of money made to the Town for the Public Library under the terms of the will of Alice B. Plimpton, late of Norwood, deceased. (Article submitted by Trustees of Morrill Memorial Library.)
Voted: To receive and accept said gift. ($50,000.00).
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to receive and accept from the Standard Oil Company of New York, an easement or right of way for all street and highway purposes in, along, and over a certain parcel of land containing 1,393 square feet situated at the easterly corner of Washington Street and Railroad Avenue as con- tained in an instrument of conveyance thereof, dated September 30, 1927, or take any other action in the matter.
Voted: To receive and accept such conveyance of an easement or right of way for all street and highway purposes in and along and over parcel of land referred to.
Article 6. To sèe if the Town will vote to receive and accept a gift of money and books under the will of Warren H. Cudworth, late of Norwood, deceased, in accordance with its terms. (Article sub- mitted by Trustees of Morrill Memorial Library.)
Voted : To receive and accept such gifts, ($500.00 and 1000 books.)
Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to appoint a committee to be known as the Library Building Committee to construct an addi- tion to the Morrill Library Building and to make certain repairs to said building as proposed by the Trustees of said Morrill Memorial Library, and to appropriate a sum of money for said purpose or take any other action in the matter. (Article submitted by Trustees of Morrill Memorial Library.)
Voted: That the Moderator appoint a Committee of five to be known as the Library Building Committee, which Committee of five is hereby authorized and directed to construct an addition to the Morrill Memorial Library Building substantially in accordance with

plans as proposed by the Trustees of said Morrill Memorial Library and to make repairs to said library building with respect to install- ing adequate heating equipment, roofing work, and other alterations as indicated by said Trustees and in conformity with such architec- tural plans as may be adopted by the Committee and that the sum of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars, being the amount of the original bequest, together with accrued interest available through the acceptance of the gift made under the will of the late Alice M. Plimpton be appropriated for said purposes.
Article 8. To see what action, if any, the Town will take with respect to additional limestone trim for the tower of the Municipal Memorial Building, and to appropriating money to be raised by taxation in 1928 or otherwise to be provided for said purpose. (Article submitted by Municipal Memorial Building Committee.)

Article 9. To see what sum or sums of money the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds for the following purposes or any of them, the same to be in addition to sums heretofore appro- priated for said purposes for the current fiscal year: Maintenance of Town Dump, Sewer Construction, Maintenance of Main Drains, Support of Poor.
Voted: The following amounts: Maintenance of Town Dump, $400.00; Sewer Construction, $938.00; Maintenance of Main Drains, $525.38; Support of Poor, $2,000.00.
Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to appoint a Committee of five, said committee to be made up of the Chairman of the Select- men, Chairman of the Town Planning Board, and Chairman of the School Committee, together with two citizens to be appointed to con- sider and report with recommendations to the Town with respect to the acquiring of additional land for the extension of the athletic field at the Senior High School, the use for public garden purposes of a part of a parcel of land purchased by the Town for Cemetery purposes and the acquiring of land southerly and westerly of the Cemetery for winter playground purposes.
