Whereas you have been Disposed jointly and Unammously to Elect and Invite me (who are less then the Least of all saints) to settle with you in the work of the Evangelicall Ministry in Conjunction with your Reverent Aged Pastor I do now declare my acceptance of your Call Vpon the proposalls freely and Volluntarily Voted by you and I shall Endeavour Carefully to Discharge the Duties of a faithfull Steward solong as my Opportunities for serveing you shall be Continued: that when the Great Shepard shall appear wee may appear with him in Glory and be Crowns of Rejoicing to Each other; Labour with me in your prayers to the God of all Grace that I may be made faithfull and Successful and at Last may Give up my account with Joy and not with Greif for that will be Unprofitable for you

and whereas at a Town Meeting held in Lyn March the 7th 1719/20: the Town Did Vote that this part of the Town belonging to this Ministrey should have that piece of Land Lying on the Common Joyning on the Land the Revert Mr Jeremiah Shepard Did then Improve of the Towns: also th haue the said peice of Land that the said Mr Shepard then Improvd of the Towns Lying Near Joseph Breeds hous for the settlement of a Minister or Ministers amongst us as is more at Large setforth & Described in said Town Votes and whereas the Revert Mr Jeremiah Shepard is now Decesd one third part of the whole of both of said peices of Land as they are Joyning togeather towit the Westerly End of the same be to the above said Mr Nathaniel Henchman his heirs & assignes forEver Provided the said Mr Nathaniel Henchman tarries and Preaches the Word of God amongst us so long as he

Voted that the Town will Receive their Proportion of the fifty thousand pounds according to the act of the General Court Begun and Hold at Boston Vpon Wednesday the thirteenth Day of July 1720: and Continued Vnto Wednesday the fifteenth Day of March following intiled an act for the makeing & Emitting of fifty thousand pounds in bills of Credit on this Province = and Capt Benjamin Potter Mr Richard Johnson & Mr. Ebenezer Burrill ore Chosen trustees for the Town as the Law in that Case Provids and are fully Impowered in behalfe of the Town to Receive our Town Proportion of the said fifty thousand pounds: and to Let it out to Interest at five pounds pr Cent Vpon the hundred pr annum for the time they shall so let it out on good security Either on Real Estate at Least Double the Vallue of the sum they so Letout or good Personal security as they shall judg Best: and so to Let it out as that the fifth part of the Princaple which is 124 pounds & four shillings may be paid in on or before the Last Day of May: 1726: and so Continuing the same time of payments yearly & Every year sucksessively till the whole Sum be paid in: and said Trustees to be accountable to the Town for the Interest yearly & Every year: and if any person or persons that shall take or hire said Bills of Credit or any part therof and Refuse or neglect to make payment of said sums or any part thereof at the time of payments said Trustees are hereby fully Impowered to suie out all such Mortgages or obligations: and no person to take more than one hundred pounds nor Less then twenty pounds: but if the whole of said bills be not so Let out within two months after the Trustees have Received them
