The petition of Jonathan Ramsdill Sener To the Town of Lynn your poor petitioner being under very Low Sircumstances & no place of abode when torned out where he now Lives as hee is Like to be in a Short time: and his aged Mother Liveing a Loan is Expozed to Many Diffecultyes and under her boddyly weaknessis not fit to live alone any Longer Your petitioner humbly prayes that for his owne Releaf as well as his Sd Mothers: you would pleas to grant to him a small peace of Land Sum Wheir near ye Burying place: and What Small Right Sd Town may have in the hous where his Sd Mother Now Lives as allso som help To Remove Sd hous on to the Land which the Town may se caus to grant and to Doe Somthing towards the Repairing and fitting up sd hous whereby it may be somthing Comfertable: and In Consideration thereof your petitioner will Receive his sd mother into his famaly and Look after her and Doe what hee can for her whereby the Town may be at as Little Charge as may be: is the prayer of your needy petitioner

In answer to ye petition of Jonathan Ramsdill senr it was voated that the above sd Ramsdill should have all the Right ye Town hath in ye hous wheir his Mother now Lives: and that he shall have five pound of that money that ye Commity have sold Land for to fence in ye Burying place If there be so Much Left after sd Burying place is fenced in: also it was voted that sd Ramsdill should have betwixt ten and twenty pooles of Land near ye Burying place to sett sd hous upon and his Barn and hee to have ye Improvement of sd Land Dureing the Towns pleasure: and Majer Burrill Joseph Mansfeild senr Captn Breed Richard Johnson and Richard Mower are appointed to Lay out said Land as they shall thinck Conveniant

Where as Joseph Richards petitined ye Town that they would make an Exchange of Land with him: to wit that they would grant him that peace of Land that his hous stands on as the fence now stands for two acers of Land which was Laid out to Walter Phillaps senr on Lynn Town Common adioyning to Mathew Easties Land which he purched of sd Phillips
Voted that they would Exchange with said Richards and the Town Did By vote make an Exchange with sd Richargs for ye above sd two acers for all ye Land that the said Richards had within fence where his hous stands which is about an acer of Land

Whereas Complaint being Made to ye selectmen of Lynn by Captn Benja Potter and Captn John ffuller that they as stoped or molested in passing upon the Highway that goeth from ye Contrey Road through ye feild by sd ffullers hous to ye fresh-Marsh plain and that sd Highway was streightened by a fence set up by Matthew ffarinton
Therefore at a Meeting of ye selectmen of Lynn october ye 3d 1725 Majer Burrill William Collins and Richard Johnson are appointed to stack out Said Highway as by Record it is set forth: and to meet at ye place on Monday ye 18th of this Instant at one of ye Clock after noone on sd Day to proceed on sd servis
