On TUESDAY, THE THIRD DAY OF NOVEMBER, A. D. 1936, at eight o'clock A. M. to bring in their votes, all on one ballot, to the Precinct Officers of the several voting Precincts of said Town, for:
Electors of President and Vice President of the United States, Governor, Lieutenant-Governor, Secre- tary, Treasurer and Receiver-General, Auditor, Attor- ney General, Senator in Congress, all for the Common- wealth of Massachusetts, Congressman, for the Fourth Congressional District, Councillor, for the Seventh Councillor District, Senator for the Fourth Worcester Senatorial District, Two Representatives in General Court, for the Eighth Worcester Representative Dis- trict, Register of Probate and Insolvency, for Worces- ter County, Two County Commissioners for Worcester County, County Treasurer, for Worcester County, and to vote yes or no on the following questions :-
To obtain a full expression of opinion, voters should vote on all three of the following questions :-
(a) If a voter desires to permit the sale in this town of any and all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on and off the premises where sold, he will vote "YES" on all three questions.
(b) If he desires to permit the sale herein of wines and malt beverages only to be drunk on and off the premises where sold, he will vote ."NO" on question one, "YES" on question two and "NO" on question three.
(c) If he desires to permit the sale herein of all alcoholic beverages but only in packages, so-called,

The cards of instructions, penalty cards, specimen ballots, and copies of Measure to be submitted to the people, received from the Town Clerk, having been duly posted, the Warrant herein before recorded was read by the Precinct Clerk. The ballot box was exam- ined by the Precinct Officers and found to be empty the register indicated 0000.
The sealed packages received from the Town Clerk, containing the official ballots were opened by the Pre- siding Election Officers in the presence of the other Precinct Officers, the ballots were delivered by him to the Ballot Clerks.
The Polls were declared open at eight o'clock A. M.
During the voting the ballot box was opened by unanimous consent of the Warden and Clerk, three times for the purpose of taking out, sorting and count- ing the ballots, first 2:45 o'clock when it registered 572, then at 6 oclock P. M. when it registered 890, then at the close of the polls 8 o'clock P. M. when it registered 1226.
The Inspectors appointed to canvass and count the ballots began their duties at four o'clock P. M.
The polls were declared closed at eight o'clock P. M.
After the closing of the polls the Officers in charge of the voting lists audibly counted and announced the whole number of names checked on the voting lists to be 1226.

The ballots cast having been sorted and counted by the proper officers were recorded and declared in open meeting to be as hereinafter set forth.
Whole number of ballots cast 1226, twenty-four of the above number of ballots cast were from absentee voters.
The ballots cast were sealed in envelopes and placed in a case and sealed. The unused ballots were placed in a case and sealed.
The voting lists used at the ballot box and at the tables were sealed, and the used and unused ballots also sealed were delivered to the Town Clerk as the law requires.
The result of the ballot was announced at 2:38 o'clock A. M., November 4, 1936.
