Report of Park Commissioners

To the Honorable Board of Selectmen

and the Citizens of Milford:

We hereby submit our annual report for 1958 with financial report appended.

A new basketball court was put in at Prospect Heights. This has made a good play area for the youngsters in this section of Town. Town Park cannot accommodate all the youngsters as it is used more than ever now.

The comfort station in Town Park had new roof, gutters and entrance repaired which was badly needed. This year, we hope to

155

plant new trees in Town Park to replace the ones which were cut down this year, due to disease and damage done by the storms.

The Playgrounds had another successful season under the supervision of Mr. Benjamin F. Consoletti with intra-playground ball being played and finishing the season with the annual trip to Purgatory.

We thank all the various departments for their help and cooperation throughout the year.

Respectfully submitted,

ANGELO P. FERRARIO PETER S. FARESE GIACCHINO PAGANELLI
