This comprehensive study brings out the fact that our Town is faced with a number of very substantial construction projects with- in the next 5 or 10 years, including a fire station, extensive road improvements, library addition, elementary and high school addi- tions.
These increased capital requirements, when coupled with our rapidly expanding operating budgets for the various Departments of the Town, will produce increasing demands upon the Town's finances.
Therefore, cautious programming of all new projects, careful committee planning, and thrifty operation by all departments will be necessary to keep the tax burden within reasonable bounds as our Town develops.
Respectfully submitted,
Thomas L. Rouner, Secretary William N. Page Charles K. Fitts
