In making a division of the amount of money raised by the Town for highways, your Selectmen apportioned to each dis- trict $160.00, retaining the balance to be expanded in those districts that needed the most general repairs. In some of the districts it needed more than general, -it needed special repairs, -and your Selectmen ordered them to be made, to save the Town from complaint, or perhaps a call from the County Commissioners. A larger part of the amount exceeding the appropriation was used for that purpose.
GUIDE BOARDS.
The guide boards are in fair condition at the present time. In some localities new ones will be required, perhaps, during the present year.
SPECIAL REPAIRS, ON ORDER OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AT AND NEAR CROOKED LANE.
