REPORT OF OVERSEERS OF THE POOR
The number of inmates in the Almshouse at present is five, with one boarder. We feel that in justice to Mr. and Mrs. Packard we should state that the old and infirm people in their charge receive the best of care.
We hope that with falling prices the expenses of the Poor Department will be reduced.
SIDNEY C. SOULE, WENDELL PHILLIPS, ALFRED E. GREEN, Overseers of the Poor.

REPORT OF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
Last year copies of the rules and regulations of the Board of Health were distributed with the Town reports. In some cases these were read, but in others, were cast aside without examination. This board wishes to impress upon the mind of the householder, that, by law, it is necessary to report all con- tagious cases immediately to the board. Not only the first case in the family, but those that follow through, such as measles or whooping cough.
