Fifth. That the general wooded effect as now existing on the Academy land, northeasterly and southeasterly of the buildings, be preserved as far as possible.

Article 1. To bring in their votes for three Selectmen for the term of one year, one Assessor for the term of three years, three Overseers of the Poor for the term of one year, for Town Clerk for one year, for Town Treasurer for one year, for Tax Collector for one year, for Tree Warden for one year, for one person for the Board of Health for three years, for one School Committee for the term of three years, for one Cemetery Trustee for the term of five years, for three Constables for one year, for one Auditor for one year, all on one ballot.
Also on the same ballot, will the Town grant licenses for the sale of certain non-intoxicating beverages for the ensuing year. The vote to be "Yes" or "No!" in answer to the question "Shall licenses be granted for the sale of certain non-intoxicating beverages in this town ?"
Polls will be open at 7 a. m., and may close at 1 p. m.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting at- tested copies thereof as prescribed by vote of the Town seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at the time and place of meeting aforesaid.

Article 9. To see if the Town will vote that the sum of $6,000. from the Excess and Deficiency Account be used by the Assessors in making the tax rate.

To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money not to exceed $10,000. for the purpose of re-surfacing with sand asphalt Congress and West Streets, said sum to be used in conjunction with a like sum allotted by the state and county, and that to meet said appropriation there be raised in the levy of the current year the sum of $3,000. and that the Treas- urer with the approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow a sum not to exceed $7,000. and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor, said bonds or notes to be payable in accordance with provision of Section 19 of Chapter 44 of the General Laws, so that the whole loan shall be paid in not more than five years from the date of issue of the first bond or note.

Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $2,500 to continue re-surfacing with gravel Temple Street northward to the East Pem- broke line.

To hear and act on the reports and rec- ommendations of the special committee of fifteen ap- pointed to investigate the school situation, and to see if the town will vote to acquire By purchase or take by eminent domain for school purposes the Alden Street site, so-called, and to raise and appropriate money there- for and for the construction of a new school building thereon, and for the original equipment and furnishing of said building substantially in accordance with the rec- ommendations of the special committee of fifteen.
