REPORT OF OVERSEERS OF THE POOR
The number of inmates in the Almshouse at present is six, with two boarders. We were obliged to employ a new caretaker the present year on account of Mr. and Mrs. Pack- ard's resignation. However, this being only for a short time, as the new keeper getting dissatisfied with the work and Mr. and Mrs. Packard being willing to return, has made it much more agreeable for both the inmates and the Over- seers.
The general care being about the same from year to year there seems to be very little to report.
There has been added to the equipment the present year a new one-pipe heater which greatly improves the heating power. There are a few minor repairs needed to the build- ing the coming year.
SIDNEY C. SOULE, WENDELL PHILLIPS, ALFRED E. GREEN, Overseers of the Poor.
