ANNUAL REPORT

Public Library.

Your trustees take pleasure in reporting to you the progress of your library.

We have twelve hundred and thirty-four volumes on our shelves, and have put in circulation the past season ten hundred and fifty. We have added forty-seven books by purchase and received from the state and other sources as gifts about one hundred volumes. Owing to the large number given us we have not expended all the appropria- tion, but as we have no reason to expect such gifts the coming year we would ask for one hundred and twenty- five dollars. Twenty-five dollars for librarian. Seventy- five dollars for new books and twenty-five dollars for new catalogues of which we are in great need.

For account of expenditures see Treasurer's report.
