Report of the Planning Board


After advertisement in the Sau- gus Herald, issue of May 31, the Planning Board held a public hear- ing on Article 14 of the Warrant in its office on June 10, 1940. Af- ter discussion the Board does not recommend passage of the Article. Walter L. Roy, Chairman.

Voted: To approve the Renewal by the Treasurer of the Town of Saugus of so much of the Seventy Five Thousand Dollar ($75,000.00) Tax Title Loan, which was origi- nally approved by this Board under date of October 28th, 1938, as is outstanding on October 31st, 1940. The rate of interest on the renew- al notes is to be one percent (1%) payable at maturity.
