PETITION FOR A RECOUNT
To the Town Clerk :
We the undersgined registered voters of Weymouth represent that we have reason to believe and do believe that the returns of the Primary Election Officers of Weymouth, of the votes cast at the Primary Election on September 12, 1922 for Representative at General Court are erroneous in this respect: That Prince H.
3

Tirrell of Weymouth was credited with more and Newland H. Holmes of Weymouth with less votes than were cast for them and we believe a recount of votes cast in Weymouth will determine be- yond any doubt which one of these candidates was nominated at said primary election. We therefore ask that the votes cast for said Tirrell and said Holmes be recounted.

PETITION FOR A RECOUNT
We the undersigned voters of Weymouth residing on the first day of April, 1922 in said town, having reason to believe and be- lieving that the records made by the Election Officers of certain precincts in said town are erroneous, in that there were more bal- lots cast in favor of Russell T. Bates, Henry L. Kincaide, Frank N. Coulson and that there were fewer ballots cast in favor of Walter Shubruk, candidates for State Senator, and believing that a recount of the ballots in such precincts will effect the election of Russell T. Bates, Henry L. Kincaide, Frank N. Coulson or Walter Shubruk candidates for State Senator, hereby respectfully petition that all the ballots cast in the Republican Primary, September 12, 1922 in said town for Russell T. Bates, Henry L. Kincaide, Frank N. Coulson and Walter Shubruk candidates for State Senator be recounted; we also respectively petition that all checking lists, tally sheets, unused, defaced or obliterated ballots used in said Republi- can Primary be examined and accounted for.
