REPORT OF THE TREE WARDEN

The over-all program of trimming was carried out this past year. All trees were removed that were a danger to the highways.

The established program for setting out new maple trees was continued.

The hurricane caused considerable damage. However, a complete survey of all the streets was made and all broken limbs, etc. were taken care of.

I wish to thank all Town Departments for their co-operation during 1960.

Respectfully submitted, CHARLES L. FULLICK, Tree Warden.

REPORT OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS FOR THE YEAR 1960

January 26, 1961

We deeply regret the death of the Chairman of the Board, George C. Lewis, on June 17, 1960.

Mr. Lewis was a resident of the Town for 36 years. He was first elected Assessor in 1951 and Chairman of the Board in 1952. His thorough knowledge of the Town and of the work of the Board has been and will be greatly missed. Fern A. Taylor was appointed to fill the vacancy caused by Mr. Lewis' death. The Board was later reorgan- ized with Allen Benjamin as Chairman.

The Board of Assessors is pleased to present the following statistics for information and analysis.
