A meeting, duly warned, of the inhabitants of West Bridgewater, qualified to vote on town offairs, was held at the Town Hall in said town on Monday March 5, 1906 at six o'clock in the morning, and the following is a record of the doings of said meeting, viz:

Voted, That the Treasurer be and hereby is authorized, with the approval of the Selectmen to borrow during the municipal year beginning Jan. 1, 1905. in anticipation of the collection of taxes such sums of money as may be ne- cessary for the current expenses of the town but not ex- ceeding the total tax levy for said year, giving the notes of the town therefor payable with one year from the date thereof. All debts incurred under authority of this vote shall be paid from the taxes of the present municipal year,


Voted, To raise appropriate $100 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the settlement of Old Bridgewater and that the Selectmen cooperate with the officers of the Historical Society.
