work in any subject, except music, drawing and spelling, completed with an average of 80 per cent. to 85 per cent. gives the pupil one-fourth credit extra; 85 per cent. to 90 per cent., one-half credit extra; 90 per cent. to 95 per cent., three-fourths credit extra; 95 per cent. to 100 per cent., one credit extra.
A further credit can be earned each year by business- like methods and strict attention to the demands of the school.
