I respectfully submit the following report for the year ending December 31, 1914.
Number of stables visited, 83
Number of cattle inspected, 854
Including, 530 cows, 159 young cattle, 4 oxen, 19 bulls, 123 swine, 13 sheep and 6 goats. Also, 8 cows quarantined and killed because of tuberculosis.
Under the head of Slaughtering, the whole number slaughtered was 998, divided as follows :- Calves, 606; swine, 379; cattle 9; sheep 4.

In compliance with requirements of the Selectmen, I hereby submit the report of the West Bridgewater Fire Department for the year ending December 31, 1914, which will include the cost of maintenance, loss of property, and cause of fires, as near as could be ascertained, and insurance paid on same.

CALL FORCE.
This force consists of twelve men and six Forest Fire Wardens.
APPARATUS.
One automobile fire truck.
One single horse hose wagon. Forest fire wagon.
In performing its services, the apparatus has traveled 225 miles. The department has laid 7,150 feet of hose, used 300 chemicals. We have in service about 2,000 feet good hose. Would recommend the purchase of 500 feet the coming year.
The members of the department have installed a call system to their houses, running about three miles of wire, installing eleven bells and three push buttons.
