APPROPRIATIONS RECOMMENDED.
The Selectmen have taken into consideration the fact that the Town, in addition to its ordinary running expenses, is now paying four thousand dollars a year upon the principal indebtness incurred by the building of the Center Grammar School, the Sunset Avenue School and the purchase of the Town Hall. This means a tax rate about $3.10 greater than otherwise would be. The Selectmen therefore recommend conservatism in making appropriations.
