RECOMMENDATION. That the Town appropriate a sum of money from the income of the Fletcher Fund for the construction and equipment of a playground and recreational field on "Fletcher Field," to be expended under the direction of the Playground Committee.

Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED that the Town indefinitely postpone action on this article.

To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5000) for the reconstruction of Lincoln Street under Chap- ter 90, said money to be used in conjunction with any money which may be allotted by the State or County, or both, for this purpose, or take any other action in relation thereto.

RECOMMENDATION. That the Town raise and appropriate the sum of $25,000.00 for the extension of a water main to be not less than six-inch (6") pipe and less than fifteen-inch (15") pipe, through Oak Street, to

its junction with Pond Street, and thence through Pond Street to the Franklin-Medway Town Line and that to meet and provide said appropriation the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow said sum of $25,000.00 and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor, such bonds or notes to be payable in not more than fifteen (15) years from the date of issuance of the first of said bonds or notes, or at such earlier time or times as the Treasurer and Selectmen may determine. The funds provided therein may be expended in cooperation with assistance rendered by the State or Federal Government.
