WARRANT FOR TOWN MEETING
MIDDLESEX SS :
To either of the Constables of the Town of Tewksbury in said County :
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabi- tants of the Town of Tewksbury, qualified to vote in Town affairs, to meet and assemble at Pickering Hall in said Tewksbury, on Monday, the 2d day of February, 1920, at nine o'clock a. m. to act on the following articles :
ART. 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
ART. 2. To choose all necessary Town Officers, to choose by ballot a Town Clerk, three Selectmen, three Overseers of Poor, three members of the Board of Health, a Town Treasurer, an Auditor, a Collector of Taxes, a Tree Warden, and Constables -all to serve one year;
one Highway Commissioner, one School Com- mittee, two Trustees of the Public Library and one Park Commissioner, all to serve three years; one Park Commissioner, to serve two years; one Asses- sor to serve three years and one Assessor to serve one year to fill a vacancy. The polls for the election of Town Officers to be opened at ten o'clock a. m., and close at three o'clock p. m.
ART. 3. To hear reports of Town Officers and Commit- tees and act thereon.
ART. 4. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise by taxation to defray necessary expenses

for the current year, and make appropriations for the same.
ART. 5. To see what action the Town will take on the following question : Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in the Town? The vote to be yes, or no, as provided by Revised Laws, Chap- ter 100, Section 10.
ART. 6. To see if the Town will vote the money arising from licensing dogs, for the ensuing year, to aid in support of the Public Library.
ART. 7. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money in anticipation of the revenue of the current financial year.
ART. 8. To see what compensation the Town will vote for the collection of taxes, and at what rate and from what date interest shall be charged on taxes of 1920 unpaid after November 1, 1920, or to take any other action relative thereto.
ART. 9. To see if the Town will vote to borrow, if necessary, a sum not exceeding one twenty-fifth of one per cent. of the current year's valuation, such sum of money to be used in the suppression of the Gipsy and Brown Tail Moths, and not to be expend- ed before December 1st next, and to be raised in the tax levy of the year 1921.
ART. 10. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $150.00, for the proper observ- ance of Memorial Day, and appoint a committee to expend the money.
ART. 11. To see if the Town will authorize the Select-

men to institute suits on behalf of the Town or de- fend any suits that are, or may be brought against the Town.
ART. 12. To see what action the Town will take toward purchasing a new fire truck, or other fire apparatus, and to see what sum of money the Town will appro- priate and raise by loan or otherwise for same.
ART. 13. To see what action the Town will take towards indexing the Town Records, and to see what sums of money the Town will appropriate for same.
ART. 14. To see if the Town will vote to instal three electric lights on Astle Street, between Lowell line and Eliot French's residence, and appropriate money for same.
ART. 15. To see if the Town will vote to instal three electric lights on Astle Street, between Main Street and Mr. Blake's residence, and appropriate money for same.
ART. 16. To see if the Town will vote to place one gas light on Rogers Street, same to be placed at the curve, about 300 feet from Main Street, and appro- priate money for same.
ART. 17. To see if the Town will vote to place one gas light on Main Street, near the residence of Mr. Sun- bury, and appropriate money for same, or take any other action relative thereto.

ART. 18. To see if the Town will vote to instal one gas light on Main Street, between the trestle and Mr. Leith's house, and appropriate money for same.
ART. 19. To see if the Town will vote to place three

gas lights on Main Street, from the present terminal of the main, near Mr. Landers' residence to Mr. Marshall's house.
ART. 20. To see if the Town will vote to place three gas lights on North Street, from the present termi- nal of the gas main near Mr. Patten's residence to Almont Station.
ART. 21. To see if the Town will vote to place two gas lights on James Street, from the terminal of gas main to Mrs. Chandler's house.
ART. 22. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to instal electric street lights in South Tewksbury on Salem Road, South Street, Main Street, and Lake Street, or any part thereof, and make appropriation for said work.
ART. 23. To see if the Town will vote to instal one gas light on North Street, midway between East and Main Streets.
ART. 24. To see if the Town will vote and appropriate a certain sum of money sufficient for the purchase of a set of Town Scales to be placed on the Town Lot in rear of the Town Hall, or any other location, or take any other action relative thereto.
ART. 25. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise for the application of tar oil or other binder on the roads.
ART. 26. To see if the Town will vote to repair the culvert under Rogers Street, about 700 feet from Main Street, near the McTeague residence.
ART. 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise $5,576.00
