Warrant For Town Meeting
State of Maine.
Oxford, ss.
To Clinton S. Thurlow, Constable of the town of Hartford, County of Oxford, Greeting :
In the name of the State of Maine you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said town of Hartford, qualified by law to vote in town affairs, to assemble at the town hall in said town on Monday, the sixth day of March, A. D. 1916, at ten o'clock in the forenoon to act on the following articles, to wit:
Art. 1. To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting.
Art. 2. To see if the town will vote to accept the report of the town officers.
Art. 3. To choose all necessary town officers for the ensuing year.
Art. 4. To see if the town will grant and raise such sums of money as may be necessary for the maintenance and support of schools, the poor, repair of roads and bridges, and to defray all other town charges for the ensuing year.
Art. 5. To see if the town will vote to maintain the "Line" school for the ensuing year.
Art. 6. To see if the town will vote to maintain the "Glover" school for the ensuing year.
Art. 7. To see if the town will vote to maintain the Mountain school for the ensuing year.
Art. 8. To see if the town will vote to build a school-house on some lot, to be selected in the "Gurney" neighborhood, so-called, in south Hartford, and to accept a plan of the same, to be presented by the school board of said town, in pursuance of the law, in this behalf, made and provided, and to appropriate a sufficient amount of money for building the same, or act anything in relation thereto.
Art. 9. To see if the town will purchase an iron or steel bridge, to replace the wooden bridge between the residence of O. E. Hardy and Maple Grove Cemetery, and raise the abutments and cut down the hill on each side of the bridge and raise money for same.
Art. 10. To see if the town will vote to have all winter road work turned on taxes.

Art. 11. To see if the town will vote "Yes" or "No" on the question of appropriating and raising money necessary to entitle the town to State aid, as provided in Section 20 of Chapter 130 of the Public Laws of 1913.
Art. 12. To see if the town will appropriate and raise the sum of $533 for the improvement of the section of the State aid road as outlined in the report of the State highway Commission, in addition to the amounts regularly raised for the care of ways, highways and bridges; the above amount being the maximum which the town is allowed to raise under the provision of Section 19 of Chapter 130 of the Public Laws of 1913.
Art. 13. To see whether the town will vote to raise money, and what sum, for the maintenance of State and State aid highways during the ensuing year, within the limits of the town, under the pro- visions of sections 9 and 18, of Chapter 130 of the Public Laws of 1913.
Art. 14. To see if the town will vote to choose a tax collector and fix his compensation.
Art. 15. To see if the town will vote to elect two road com- missioners or recommend two for the selectmen to appoint.
Art. 16. To see if the town will vote to erect a shelter for horses at the Town Hall.
Art. 17. To transact any other business that may legally come be- fore said meeting.
The Selectmen will be in session at the Town Hall at 9 o'clock in the forenoon of the day of said meeting, for the purpose of re- vising the list of voters.
