Report of the Superintendent of Schools

To the School Committee of the town of Hartford:

I herewith submit my third annual report of the schools of Hartford.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to report that the teacher shortage seems to have broken and that, if not cheaper, at least a far better grade of teachers are now available. Schools have been much broken up by sickness but with a teaching force 100% improved over last year the fall and winter terms have shown good improvement.
