MICHIGAN MANUAL.


OF THE LEGISLATURE.


AN ACT to fix the compensation and mileage of members and of certain officers and employes of the legislature, to provide the manner of paying said compensation and mileage, and to make appropriation therefor.


(a) [Act 1, P. A. 1919.]


The People of the State of Michigan enact:


SECTION 1. The compensation of the president and members of the senate, and of the members of the house of representatives, shall be eight hundred dollars each for the regular session. When convened in extra session their compensation shall be five dollars per day each for the first twenty days and nothing thereafter. They shall each be entitled to and shall receive ten cents per mile and no more for one round trip to each regular and special session of the legislature by the usually traveled route.
