School Report.

The same general thoughts respecting the subject of ed- ucation naturally recurr from year to year. It does not seem necessary though, that this report should be a lengthy one. The principle facts regarding this work will be found in the following pages.

It is a pleasure to note however that all our school houses were used throughout the entire year. It has been the aim of the school board to secure teachers qualified to instruct their pupils in a pleasing and helpful way, also to encourage the children in their work.

Many and extensive repairs have been made on some of the school houses during the past year, making them as pleas- ant and comfortable as possible, for the pleasure and advance- ment of the children who are to receive their future knowledge under their roofs.

JOHN J. WEED, ALBERT B. HOAG, NANNIE M. VITTUM, School Board of Sandwich.
