Taylor, as attorney for John Tatham, who was formerly at- torney for Daniel Cox, and who transferred his power to said Taylor, discharges said Hand " his heirs etc. . . for Euer as all foe ye full fum - - - venty feuen pounds to be paid " " before ye 25 Day of March," 1695, & sells said Hand, 373 acres of land formerly belonging to Daniel Cox, "att Cape May, Neare ye Sea fhoare by ye found fide adioyning to ye Land Taken " up by Joseph Badcok," " under the yearly payment of two fat Capens, or hens on ye " 24th Dec.

Bran- dreth," grants to " Epherem Edwards," of Cape May, " 300 acres of ye fiue mile beech, hee paying ye "Sociaty for same from Tortal Gut To ye fcoch bonnit Eaftward," with all rights; "the cuting of " feder only excepted, which he is not to dwo nor suffer to be done, without Giuing notis to me " thereof." "This is onley in Cafe of mortallity till I am able to Suruey itt." Dated, Aug. 4, 1714.

Order of the Justices & Sheriff that a boat shall be sold to defray expenses appertaining thereto, said vessel having been washed a shore at Cape May, "a yeare and a Day paft."


" Tim. Brandreth and Jacob Spicer, being attefted to ye appraifment of ye fd Vefill, they ualiue " her afs fhe Lyes to be worth nine pounds."


" The fd vefill being fould afs a fore fd ye 24 of June, 1695," ," fhe fell to be Jacob Spicers," who paid according to appraisement.


Survey of Tim. Brandreth, for Ephram Edwards, of " 300 acres of the five mile beach begining " at the Inlet at ye sow weft End Cauled Turtle Gut Inlet." Aug. 11, 1714. Entered, Aug. 12, 1716.


" Indenture ": Dated, 23 April, 1695: Between Jeremiah Basse, " now of burlingtown, Mrchant," agent for the West New Jersey So- ciety, & " John Reeues, of ye Countey of Cape May," " Cooper."


For the sum of 20f., said Basse, as agent, sells to said "Reeues," 200 acres of land "in ye Countey of Cape May, Lying and being on ye found fide," " under ye yearly Rent of two fat Capons or henes payable " on the 25th Dec., " at Cox Hall, on Cape May."
