in the road and where brought to us by Peter Housman which runs from Richard Dongan to the Clove and where stopt by William Spragg the Alteration where to be by John Hiseman Junior and the said Sprag, These are therefore to Certify that on the Complaint we met on the said road and took a View thereof and found it Convenient to make a small Alteration, whereas it run through the Land of John Hiseman Jun', we have Laid it Between the said Hiseman and his father to the sd Spragg & so to ye Old road again which - to the Clove, and we the Commissioners do desire the said County to enter it on Record

We the Commifsioners for the West Division whose Names are hereunto Subscribed Being meet at the Request of the freeholders to Regulate and Lay out high ways, have begun a road and Laid it ont from the water side to a small Cherry tree marked two rods from the Bank above the Cove to the West side of the Cove by John Van Woglum Landing, and so running along the road as it now runs to the Line of Peter and Andries Woglum and then Runs Betwixt ve said Peter and Andries Direct as their Line Runs to a Large Black oak Tree in the Woods on the Top of a rising Ground and then turns somewhat to the Eastward and runs on a Direct Line to the Southeast Corner of Captain Heze- kiah Wright's Land, which is the North side of the Road, so by the Rear of said Wright, his rear being the North side of the sd Road then two rods to the South to a stake on John Mersero, and so along the south side of the Road to another Stake Betwixt John Mersereau and the Widow Johnson and a small Cherry tree marked by the said Widow Johnsons opposite her House, and so direct to the white oak mentioned by Daniel Winants Deed and so runs by the front of said winant about Twelve foot to the North of a Pepprige Tree Standing Betwixt said Winant & Anthony Stoutenburgh it being the south side of the Road, and so along by Stoutenburgh as the Road Runs to the Road that runs Betwixt Stoutenburgh and James Seguin the whole Road now Laid Out from ye Afore Mention'd Place is to be two Rods in Breadth
