CHAMBERLAIN & Co's CARRIAGE MANUFACTORY. -This building is located on the corner of Ni- agara and Mohawk streets. It has a frontage on Niagara of 175 feet by 100 front on Mohawk. There is also a large frame building on the premises 150 feet long, for the storing of lum- ber. Cost of main and out buildings 8,000 dol- lars. This firm formerly occupied the large building on the corner of Pearl aud Mohawk streets, but their constantly increasing business compelled them to erect this fine building.
RICHARDSON's MILL .- This is a brick building located on Swan near junction of Seneca. It is 2 stories high, 32x40, cost 1,000 dollars .- Built and owned by E. K. Richardson, Esq.
GOWANS & BEARD'S TALLOW FACTORY .- This building is located corner Chicago and Perry streets, 1 story, 28x30, cost 300 dollars. This is only a temporary building, as this firm purpose, erecting a large 3 story, 40x80 brick building the coming spring, for the purpose of carrying on their extensive manufacture of Soap and Candles.
LOUIS OTTO, SOAP FACTORY .- Located corner

S. & G. HUSTED'S SASE AND BLIND FACTORY .- This building is located in the rear of 142 Sen- eca. It is brick, 2 stories high, 30x40, and cost present occupants Messrs. S. & G. Husted.
GAS CO'S RETORT BUILDING .- This is an ex. tension of the original retort building, which was found inadequate for the demand. It x composed of stone and brick, 2 stories bigb, sur- mounted with handsome turrets. It has a frun. tage of 250 feet, by 22 deep. It was erected by the Buffalo Gas Co., after a plan by J. H. Sel- kirk, architect, at a cost of 10,000 dollars.
