ROLL OF MUSKINGUM COUNTY'S DEAD SOLDIERS. .
Honor to the dead, as well as the living, sol- dier! The following list of soldiers who died on the battle field, in prison, in hospital, and at home, from wounds or disease, resulting from service in the War of the Rebellion-embracing those given in company, except the supplement to Company A, by R. B. Brown-is the result `of three years' labor, by W. O. Munson, who obtained the particulars from relatives of the de- ceased ; and for this "labor of love," they, and every patriot, will ever hold him in grateful re- membrance, and say, with the poet :
"Soldier, rest! thy warfare o'er, Sleep the sleep that knows no breaking ; Dream of battlefields no more, Days of danger, nights of waking. . Iu our Isle's enchanted hall, Hands unseen thy couch are strewing,
Fairy strains of music fall, Every sense in slumber dewing ; Soldier rest !"
