COURTS OF PROBATE AND INSOLVENCY.


There is a Probate Court and a Court of Insolvency in each county, distinct in their jurisdiction, powers, proceedings and practice, but having the same judge and register. These courts are held by the judge of probate and insolvency appointed for the county; but the judges of the several counties may, in case of necessity or convenience, interchange services and perform each other's duties. "The names of the judges, registers, assistant registers and commissioners of insolvency may be found among the list of county officers.
