NAUTICAL TRAINING SCHOOL.


The Nautical Training School, established in 1893 and maintained by the state at an annual expense of $50,000. is under the charge of three commissioners-W. H. Lincoln of Brookline, John C. Ross of Plymouth, and George E. Belknap, U. S. Navy, Brookline. The school uses the steamer Enterprise, during the winter lying at the Charlestown Navy Yard. On Jan. 1, 1895, the number of cadets was 90. No charge is made for tuition or board. Up to date all graduates have received lucrative positions.
