Article 4. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1938, and to issue a note or notes there- for, payable within one year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than a year in accordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, General Laws.
Voted unanimously that the Town Treasurer, with the ap- proval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1938, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within a year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in ac- cordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, General Laws.
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money for municipal purposes, under authority of, and in accordance with, the provisions of Chapter 49, of the Acts of 1933, as amended by Section 2, Chapter 300, of the Acts of 1935, and as amended by Chapter 281, Acts of 1936, or take any action thereto.
Voted unanimously that the Town Treasurer, with the ap- proval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow for general maintenance expenses of the Town the sum of $15,000.00, but in no event a sum in excess of the amount of tax titles taken or held by the Town, and to issue a note or notes of the Town therefor, all in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 49 of the Acts of 1933, as amended by Section 2, Chap- ter 300 of the Acts of 1935, and as amended by Chapter 281, Acts of 1936.
Article 6. To see if the Town will accept the following : Gift of $200 received from Miss Oria J. Perry, Miss Minnie A. Perry and Mrs. Helen A. Greenwood to establish the "Joanna Bullard Perry Fund," income from which to be used for perpetual care of Lot No. 226 in the North Cemetery.
Gift of $100 received from Annie J. Ward to establish the "Willard B. Ward Fund," income from which to be used for perpetual care of Lots No. 151 and 156 in the South Cemetery.
Gift of $125 received from Dudley H. Clulow to establish the "Charles Drury Roby Fund," income from which to be used for perpetual care and decoration of Lot No. 15 in the North Cemetery.

Voted unanimously that the gifts received to establish va- rious cemetery perpetual care funds as stated in Article 6 be ac- cepted by the Town.
Article 7. To see if the Town will authorize the Cemetery Commissioners to accept, on behalf of the Town, gifts of money for the establishment of funds, and to turn over to the Town Treasurer such funds for investment, income from said funds to be used for perpetual care of cemetery lots as requested by the donors of the gifts, or do or act.

Article 15. To see if the Town will appropriate and assess a sum of $18,000 to be used under the direction of the Select- men in connection with W.P.A. or other similar Federal or State projects, or do or act.

Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to amend Article 3, Section 6 of the By-laws by striking out Section 6 as it now reads and substituting the following :
"Section 6. Fifty registered voters shall constitute a quorum at all Town Meetings called for the transaction of Town business, other than the election of Town Officers. A majority of the voters present, although less than a quorum, may adjourn the meeting from time to time."

Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and assess a sum of money to be expended in making a survey of a portion of the Town and making a start on the preparation of plans which are to become a part of the Wayland Assessors Atlas, as recommended in the report of the Special Committee created by the last Annual Town Meeting, or do or act.

Article 21. To see if the Town will amend the Zoning By-laws, as requested by Daniel E. Sherman and others in sub- stantially the following manner ; By amending the Zoning Map on file with the Town Clerk to establish a business district on the easterly side of Concord Road for a distance of one hun- dred feet north and south, and with a depth of one hundred feet from the street line, said district to be located opposite the easterly end of Sherman Bridge Road, or some where not far away, either north or south of said suggested area, or take any other action in regard thereto.

To see if the Town will vote to refer the Zon- ing By-law and Zoning Map, now in force, to the Planning Board for a review and reconsideration ; the said Board to hold public hearings and recommend to the next Annual Meeting such clarifications, revisions and additions as may seem desir- able.

(3) $191.25 to meet the assessment made on it for the pur- pose of paying its share of the cost and interest of the Middle- sex County Tuberculosis Hospital Funding Loan, Act of 1932 bonds maturing in 1938, issued in compliance with Chapter 10, Acts of 1932.
(4) $1,466.74 to meet the assessment made on it for the purpose of paying its share of the net cost of care, maintenance, and repairs of the Middlesex County Tuberculosis Hospital including interest on temporary notes issued therefor, in accordance with sections of Chapter 111 of the General Laws applicable thereto, including Chapter 400, Section 25 G (6) (a) of the Acts of 1936, or do or act.

July, 1934, Barnes & Beal, C. E.'s, and authorize the Selectmen to take by eminent domain, purchase, or otherwise acquire, such easement, or do or act.
Voted that the report of the Selectmen recommending the taking by eminent domain of an easement in the land of George B. Howe to take, improve, widen, deepen and change the course

of the water course running through the land of said George B. Howe for sanitary purposes and for the purposes of surface and ground drainage and for the protection of public health, to divert the waters thereof together with the surface and ground drain- age, into a covered conduit in whole or in part, and to conduct such waters through such conduit and pipes or through open channels in whole or in part, be accepted and the Board of Se- lectmen be and they hereby are authorized to make such taking of an easement over a strip of land 15 feet wide between Shaw- mut Avenue and Harrison Street, as shown on a plan on file in the Town Clerk's Office entitled "Plan Showing Drainage Ease- ments in the Village of Cochituate-Wayland, Mass." July, 1934, Barnes & Beals, C. E. 'S, all as set forth in said report.
Article 44. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and assess a sum of money for the purpose of installing a new sewage disposal system at the Cochituate School, or do or act.
