Article 50. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Moderator to appoint a committee of four to look into the ad- visability and cost, of equipping the fire apparatus with a two- ye way radio system. This committee to report at the next An- nual Town Meeting, or do or act in any manner relative thereto.
Article 51. To see if the Town will vote to have the Mod- erator appoint a committee of three to look into the advis- ability and cost of a permanent fireman and report at the next yer Annual Town Meeting. The Committee to consist of one mem- ber of the Fire Engineers, one member of the Finance Com- mittee and one member of the Board of Selectmen, or do or act in any manner relative thereto.
Article 52. To see if the Town will vote to have a Com- mittee of three appointed by the Selectmen, to draw up new By-Laws to regulate building operations in the Town, and to submit such By-Laws to the Town for approval at the next Town Meeting, or do or act in any manner relative thereto.
Article 53. To see if the Town will vote to have a com- mittee appointed by the Moderator, to make arrangements tot celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Town, and raise and ap- propriate a sum of money for use of said committee, or do or act in any manner relative thereto.
Article 54. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate or transfer from available funds in the treasury, a sum of money for the purchase of war bonds or other bonds that are legal investments for savings banks, and to be placed/ 001 in a fund known as the Post-War Rehabilitation Fund in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 5, Acts of 1943; this money to be earmarked for the building and equipment of an addition to the new Elementary School building or do or act in any manner relative thereto.
Article 55. To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money from the Surplus Revenue Account to be used

Greetings:
In the name of the Commonwealth you are hereby re- quired to notify and warn the inhabitants of said town who are qualified to vote in Primaries to meet in their High School Building
TUESDAY, THE FIFTEENTH DAY OF FEBRUARY, A. D., 1955
at 6:30 o'clock in the forenoon for the following purposes:
To bring in their votes to the Primary Officers for the Nomination of Candidates of Political Parties for the follow- ing office:
ONE REPRESENTATIVE IN GENERAL COURT for 9th Norfolk Representative District.
The polls will be open from 6:30 A. M. to 8 P. M.
Hereof fail not and make return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, at the time and place of said meeting.

PROCEEDINGS OF SPECIAL PRIMARY ELECTION
A Special Primary Election was held in High School Building, Tuesday, February 15, 1955.
Ballot Clerks: Dacia Anderson and Helen Proal.
Tellers: Harold Anderson, Harriet Washburn, Richard Cobb.
Ballot Box and Police Officer: Courtland Fairbanks.
The above having been appointed by the Selectmen, were duly sworn to the faithful performance of their respective duties by Town Clerk.
Warden and Election Officer: Arthur W. Washburn.
The Ballot Box was inspected, found empty, and the dials were set at zero. Box locked and key turned over to Police Officer.
The Town Clerk read the call of the meeting and at 6:30 a.m. the polls were declared open.

At 8 a.m. it was voted to take ballots from the box and start counting. The box registered 53 ballots.
At 8 p.m. the polls were declared closed.
The number of ballots cast were: 484, and 484 names checked on voting list; ballot box registered 484 ballots.

meet in High School Auditorium in said Plainville, on
MONDAY, THE SEVENTH DAY OF MARCH 1955, A. D. at six-thirty o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act on the following Articles, viz:
Article 1. The following Town Officers to be chosen by ballot, viz: One Moderator, one Town Clerk, one Auditor, one Tree Warden, and three Constables for one year. One Selectman, Board of Welfare, one Assessor, one Water Com- missioner, one Trustee Public Library, one Park Commissioner and two members School Committee for three years. Regional District School Committee: One member for two years, and one member for three years.
For this purpose the polls will open at 6:30 o'clock in the forenoon and may be closed at 5:30 o'clock in the after- noon.
