PROCEEDINGS OF THE PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY
The Presidential Primary was held in the Town Hall, April 29, 1952.
Ballot Clerks: Nellie P. King and Harriet F. Washburn. Tellers: Frank King and Dacia Anderson. Ballot Box and Police Officer: Courtland Fairbanks.
The above having been appointed by the Selectmen were sworn to the faithful performance of their respective duties by the Town Clerk.

The Ballot Box was inspected, found empty and locked by Town Clerk, and key turned over to Police Officer.
The Town Clerk read the call of the meeting, and at 12 noon the Polls were declared open.

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Plainville qualified to vote in Town affairs, to meet in Town Hall in said Plainville, on

at eight o'clock in the evening, then and there to act on the following Articles, viz:

Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $10,500.00, or any other sum, from the Surplus Revenue Account to be used by the Assessors for the reduction of the Tax Rate, or do or act in any manner relative thereto.
Article 2. To see if the Town will authorize the Water Commissioners to make a written contract with the Water Commissioners of North Attleborough, for a period of not more than ten years to furnish the inhabitants of the Town of Plainville with water, or do or act in any manner relative thereto.
And you are directed to serve this Warrant, by posting up attested copies thereof, at seven (7) Public Places in said Town, seven (7) days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, at or before the time and place of said meeting as aforesaid.
Given under our hands this seventh day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifty-two.

PROCEEDINGS OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
A Special Town Meeting was held in the Town Hall, Plainville, Monday, May 19, 1952.
The Moderator called the meeting to order at 8:10 P.M. The Town Clerk read the call of the meeting. 27 present.
Article 1. Motion by Oliver P. Brown, and unanimously voted to transfer the sum of $10,500. from the Surplus Rev- enue Account, to be used by the Assessors for the reduction of the tax rate.
