This is the name of a Furnace constructed on an entire new principle, for the purpose of warming dwelling houses, publie buildings, halls, hospitals, etc. etc. It differs essentially from other Furnaces, by having an immense radiating surface, and a creative draft. In the construction of this warming apparatus, our object has been to meet the wants of the public, and to offer an article combining the two advantages of distributing a great volume of warmed air, by the combustion of the smallest possible amount of fuel. To accomplish this, the heat is applied to all parts of the furnace alike, thus making it totally impossible for the air which passes into the air-chamber to come in contact with any red-hot surfaces. By the peculiar arrangement of the flues, and the manner of introducing the supply of air to assist the combustion of the fuel, this furnace is equally ADAPTED TO THE USE OF ANTIIRACITE OR BITUMINOUS COAL, & #t consumes the smoke and gas which in other furnaces cocapes into the chimney, and is wasted.' This furnace is constructed on scientific principles, and by having a creative draft, and the mert of consuming the smoke and gas, as before mentioned, it can be easily managed in the most ordinary chimney, without being a continual source of annoyance by the escape of gas into the rooms warmed. All gentlemen interested in the PRACTICAL UTILITY of an article of this kind, are most respectfully invited to call and examing for themselves, and be convinced that the enormous waste of fuel can be economised, and be a double source of profit to the master and pleasure to the servant.

Sold, Wholesale & Retail, at Rice & Lombard's Kan- nfactory, 18 & 13 Lewis St., opposite the Sugar Reda- ery, E. Boston, and by J. M. READ, 31 Union St., Boston.

We would direct attention to the above named Air- Warming and Ventilating Furnace. The heat is applied to all parts of the furnace alike, thus making it totally impossible for the air which passes into the air chamber to come into contact with any red hot surface. The beat passes out at the top of the fire box, into a circular pipe around the top of the furnace ; thence down eight perpendicular tubes into a corresponding pipe below : from which it passes into a due surrounding the fire box, and into a pipe heading to the chtruancy. Another commendable feature of this new furnace is the creative draft. The amount of coal required for a day's consumption is about the same as is required to start a fire in ordinary furnaces. There are other improvements in the construction of this furnace, of the value of which so adequate conception can be given by a simple description. We advise all persons in want of a furnace for their dwellings, and capecially all persons on committees for warming churches or other public buildings, to call and Inspect this new furnace .- Ees.
